The photo book company Picaboo has launched a new discount program for non-profit organizations that benefit children. The program approves eligible organizations to receive an ongoing 50 percent discount on photo books and cards created by kids and administrators. Picaboo provides free downloadable software that automatically designs customizable photo books and cards to display users' images.
Organizations that are eligible for the new discount program include preschools, kindergartens, elementary schools, hospitals, programs for children with illnesses, programs for abused and neglected children, camps, sports teams, and competitions.
Among the types of products Picaboo expects to sell through the program are school and sports team yearbooks, camp memory books, and thank-you gifts for volunteers and donors. The discounted pricing starts at $5 for an 8x6-inch, 20-page softcover photo book and 75 cents for a greeting card. The prices do not include shipping. Picaboo photo books can also be shared online for free.
