ShoZu has upgraded its mobile software with the ability to upload camera phone photos and videos to eight new online destinations. The additions bring the total number of online photo gallery, social networking, and other types of Web sites supported by the software to 36. The newly added sites are Photobucket, Dailymotion, Friendster, Twitter, Cellfish, Twitpic, Seesmic, and Ipernity. Other supported sites include popular online photo galleries such as Flickr, Picasa Web Albums, Kodak Gallery, and Webshots. ShoZu plans to continue increasing the number of sites supported this summer. The company also recently launched a new desktop version of its software that lets users publish images to multiple Web sites with one click.

ShoZu's free mobile software can be installed on any compatible cell phone with data service. It allows users to select Web sites and e-mail addresses to upload full-resolution camera phone photos and videos as long as 10 minutes to. Uploads can be set to occur automatically, as images are captured, and the software can also automatically geocode photos captured on camera phones with built-in GPS. The software can also be used to receive other people's photo streams.

The mobile and desktop software programs are available as free downloads from ShoZu's Web site.
